Join NTT DATA's network operations hub in Paris as a Support Engineer. You will ensure the reliability and performance of critical network infrastructures for global clients, resolving incidents and driving continuous improvement.

As a Support Engineer in our Network Operations team, you will be responsible for the proactive monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution of our clients' complex network infrastructures. You will work within a dynamic, international environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum uptime and performance. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and resolving network incidents (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, routers, switches) within defined SLAs.
• Performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Configuring and troubleshooting network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.) using CLI and management tools.
• Monitoring network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar and generating regular reports.
• Participating in change management processes, including maintenance windows and upgrades.
• Documenting network topologies, configurations, and procedures in the knowledge base.
• Providing 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Collaborating with Tier 3 engineers and vendors for escalated issues.
• Contributing to automation initiatives for network operations tasks.

• Experience: 2+ years in network operations/ support (ISP, MSP, or large enterprise environment).
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers/switches (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS).
  • Good understanding of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP, and QoS.
  • Experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Check Point).
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions (Viptela, Meraki, or similar).
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.).
• Certifications: CCNA is mandatory; CCNP or equivalent is a strong plus.
• Languages: Fluent English (B2+/C1) – both written and spoken. French is a strong advantage.
• Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, methodical troubleshooting approach, strong documentation skills, and ability to work in a multicultural team.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
