Lead our observability initiatives to ensure the reliability and performance of digital operations, driving proactive monitoring and incident response.

As the Technical Lead for Observability within the RDT Digital Operations and Reliability team, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing our observability strategy. You will lead a team of engineers to build, deploy, and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and tracing systems that ensure the reliability and performance of critical digital operations. Your expertise will guide the adoption of best practices, driving proactive incident detection and resolution while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This is a remote contract role, offering the opportunity to work with a global leader in healthcare and diagnostics, directly impacting the stability and scalability of our digital infrastructure.

• Observability Expertise: Proven experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Jaeger, or similar technologies.
• Technical Leadership: Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical teams in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) capacity.
• Cloud Proficiency: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Java) for automation and tooling.
• System Reliability: Strong knowledge of incident management, root cause analysis, and reliability engineering principles.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve complex technical issues under pressure.
